Wow… Did I really just take 365 days of photos? Did I really start this project in China and end it in Los Angeles? Am I in paradise?

Not quite, but I did travel to Hong Kong, Cabo San Lucas, San Diego, the Gorge, Seattle, Arizona, Portland, Mt. Hood, New York and many amazing places in between. I’ve photographed kick ass concerts, spectacular sunsets and my fashion shoots are becoming more elaborate.

In the past 365 I’ve watched my photography progress, style evolve, writing skills mature and beliefs strengthen. It’s like I kept a photo diary for the world to read. At times, I wished I never agreed to my 365 Project. It took so much time and work. However, if I put my mind to something, I’m going to do it. If I can grow so much as an individual in only 365 days, imagine what I can do in 1825 days?

Where do you see yourself in 3650 days? What about in 9125 days!?

Even Mercado couldn’t pass up Fashion Friday!

Ok, realistically Nicole found me on the fire escape taking fashion photos. She came up to smoke and pop a few shots of me, so in return I photographed her awesome, vintage, waterproof shoes.

Tomorrow is my last day of my 365 Project and I can’t believe a year has already gone by! What will I do to replace my POTD!?

My first successful solo photo mission as a Los Angeles resident!

Tonight it hit me that yes, indeed I do now live here. And I’m not complaining about the 86 degree weather :]

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

I’m making this rainbow on the ceiling photo my POTD because my dream this afternoon really did come true.

My 30-minute power nap turned into a three hour power nap. While sleeping, I dreamt about friends, work, life in LA and rainbows. When I woke up from my mini-slumber, I saw this rainbow on Nicole’s ceiling. Deja vu? Am I tapping into my subconscious!? Ok, it’s not a real rainbow. The sun reflected on a CD, creating this Roy G. Biv. Regardless, my dream did transfer into my reality.

This photo symbolizes dreams do come true. For months I’ve said my goal for 2011 is to get out of Tri-Cities. If you want something bad enough, and you work for it, anything is possible. I am proof.

I-5. South.

Being on the road for so many hours, I’ve had a lot of time to ponder work, politics, love, life, friends and my future. I can’t even describe the surreal feeling of being on the open road. For the first time in a long time, I feel free. I feel like a grownup. I’m on this amazing adventure and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.

I might be poor living in California, but luckily my ideas will keep me rich.
