We shot so many phenomenal photos for Western Cultured‘s Vance Creek Editorial, I wanted to post a little overflow.

Thank you again Chrysta Colburn of Fauxy Furr Vintage for styling, and thank you to my four models for fifteen hours of photos, unexpected hiking and adventure.

Make sure to scope the full editorial here.

This is without a doubt my most elaborate shoot. We plan (hope!) to shoot these concepts quarterly. How can I outdo Vance Creek Bridge!?

I am so excited to share these photos from my shoot with the insanely talented Marcelo!

We spent the day snapping photos while lingering train tracks and twirling by the Los Angeles River. If Marcelo sounds familiar, it’s because we shot RV Vibes together a while back. He’s one of my favorite photographers to work with and his lighting is impeccable. This day was one for the books and a great way to wrap my time in LA.

Some of you saw this shoot unfold on Snapchat (add me at BessByers) and if you’re not, follow Marcelo on Instagram. Want more? Peep us on Arsenic! FYI: Some of these contain a little more booty…

Styling by moi.

Ray Wang’s Subway Series

Tuesday, April 10th, 2012

Thank you Ray for the amazing sketch!

While riding the subway home, I noticed a gentleman, what looked like, sketching me. Trying to be coy, I peered over. We made eye contact. He smiled. The guy behind him mouthed to me, “He’s good!”

A few stops passed before we exchanged contact info. I’m glad we did. Ray told me about his subway series and art. I talked about marketing research and fur. We exchanged a few words in Mandarin.

Having someone as talented as Ray sketch you, is an honor. I love art, and can’t draw for the life of me. Looking forward to meeting up Thursday to pose for the rest of the sketch. Don’t worry, I’ll post the final version. In the interim, click here to see more of Ray’s work and click here to see a second sketch he did by memory!

Can you guess what I was wearing!?
