imPRESS by Broadway Nails

You’re flying home, nails are a mess and the attendant said you can’t use polish in flight. What’s a girl to do? Thanks to Broadway Nails’ imPRESS Press-On Manicure, nasty nails and smudged polish are a thing of the past.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure is the salon-perfect gels you can do yourself, in a matter of minutes. I did mine flying home for Christmas. Simply pull off the sticky adhesive and apply. For even better results, I filed my natural nails down and pushed back cuticles. There is no drying time and no mess. Perfect for gals on the go.

Removal of nails is easy. Simply soak your hands in hot soapy water, then pull from the sides. No damage to nails like acrylics.

imPRESS comes in 18 colors and 18 patterns, and is sold at your local Rite-Aid, CVS and WalGreens. imPRESS retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns.

The verdict? I am hooked on the imPRESS mani. It’s easy, looks pro and the nails hold up well. My mom instantly commented on my nails. “Those look great,” she said, “I must get a pair.” Similar comments flowed like booze all Christmas weekend.

I only have two minor issues with the imPRESS Press-On Manicure. First, when I run my fingers through my hair, the nails at the cuticle sometimes lift up, making for a weird feeling. Also, after a weekend of errands, cleaning, cooking, etc. my patterns started to fade. Both “problems” are avoidable though. I carried a brush and painted over my patterns for another fun look. Crises avoided.

How would you like to win two sets of imPRESS nails? Cake walk! Simply leave a comment saying what you would do in 2012 with your imPRESS nails, then retweet for a chance to win. One lucky lady (or gent) will take home the two sets of nails featured above. Hurry, contest ends Friday!

With gels and nail art all the rage, you too can have happy hands without spending a fortune. Now go to the nearest store and snag a set. Your New Year’s Eve kiss will love them.

♥ BB

*Update: I just put on my second pair of imPRESS nails. After holding the nails on longer and keeping them closer to the cuticle, I’m happy to report the hair-snagging issue has been resolved!
