Isn’t he the cutest little man!? I think my heart just melted…

This afternoon I photographed my friend Desiray‘s son Jaiden for his upcoming second birthday. We went to the Playground of Dreams in hopes of snapping some fun photos.

This shoot turned out to be much easier than I anticipated. In fact, it’s one of my favorite shoots to date. For starters, the light rocked. I didn’t need my Photoflex which took a huge burden off my shoulders. Photography specifics aside, Jaiden took great photos. I chased him around the playground taking candid two-year-old photos. I felt like a little kid with a big camera.

Scrolling through tonight’s photos, I couldn’t decide on a POTD. I snapped a few classic black and whites, but am trying to post something different. I also snapped some great candids, close-ups and artsy shots. Check back this week to see more of our shoot.

While I’m certainly not ready for kids any time soon, I love photographing them. Their emotions in photos are unreal. The way their porcelain skin reflects light is ideal. Photoshop is minimal when you photograph angels like these.

I’ve been in overdrive lately and promise to post more photos of Jaiden and the Frisbee‘s before this week is over. Apologies!
