I recently returned from a trip to Colorado. My good friend Amy works at Beaver Creek Resort. I couldn’t snowboard, but I could crochet! On January 2, I flew to Denver, Colorado.
Amy and I stayed the night in Denver with our friend Brice. What a fun city! The next morning, on our way up to Beaver Creek, we stopped in Golden. We couldn’t miss an opportunity to tour the Coors factory! After our tour, we drove to Beaver Creek. For the next three days, Amy and Ryan hit the slopes while I crocheted. Who knew crocheting was such an easy way to meet people? While sitting alone at the bar, I made two headbands and a hat for random people. They paid me for my work in drinks and food! Unfortunately my time came to an end all too fast. Beaver Creek is gorgeous, the village is so fun and the people are extremely friendly. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Colorado, take it. Colorado is gorgeous. Hopefully I’ll be back and riding dirty next winter!
