40 Day Dream

Sunday, March 18th, 2012

Do I even need to explain?

I feel like the last 40 days have been a dream. Rhonda. Whitney’s death. Valentine’s Day. Grammy events. MADE. Mom’s visit. Going on two weeks in New York City

Missing my West Coast crew, but I don’t plan to wake up anytime soon. See you guys in dreamland, and hopefully on the best coast before Coachella.

Skate or Die

Monday, October 17th, 2011

Or is it skate and die? No idea who this boy is, but he killed it today.

Venice skatepark: not only a great place for taking pictures, but meeting boys too. (wink)

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

Left: Me circa 1996
Right: Lady Gaga circa 2011

Thanks Mom for sending this over! Anyone else have celebrities copying their awesomely bad ’90s attire?

*Side note: I don’t really think Gaga copied my look.

Found this video of my friend Káli hooping through Asia and had to post it. The music, sights and motions just flow.

Glad to see you’re spreading the NW love to Asia. Keep killing it girl, miss you!!

…with my little eye, a BMX boy flying high.

Can you spot him?

Stay tuned, there’s a lot more where this came from.

Flearock

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

I met this fellow whilst photographing Black Banditz tonight. I’d say he can count a beat or two.

Flearock, or as I met him Oren, is an undeniably talented breakdancer. Seeing these videos got me thinking. I love dance. I love photography. Why not combine the two?

Photo visions are free flowing and I’m excited to put something together. Who knows, maybe I can pick up a few new 8-counts!?

On a totally unrelated note: meeting awesome people like Flearock is reason 9,572,053,204,137 why I moved to LA.

Swell

Sunday, July 10th, 2011

Swell. Friday night was swell.

Swell is certainly an understatement. An evening retreat to Malibu is just what the doctor ordered. I’ve suffered from concrete fever the past few weeks and needed an escape to nature. While I love LA, I won’t lie, I miss the PNW, evening wakeboard runs, Gorge retreats and my best girlfriends.

Thankfully Mother Nature is the best therapist. I hope to see her again soon.
