Me: “Ummm… No.”
Boy: “I was joking.”
Me: “No you weren’t.”
Boy: “Yes I was.”
Me: “No you weren’t and here’s why. If I say yes, you win. I’m easy. If I say no, you pretend to be joking and save face.”
Boy: (hangs head in shame)
Me: “Let the male species know this is not a good line.”
This conversation happened. Last night. 12:30 AM. Townhouse.
Bess 1. Drunk 0.

Happy New Years Eve!
I’m in Seattle with Alex prepping to go out. Here’s a couple potential outfits.
What are you wearing this NYE? What affected your decision? Ladies, excessive amounts of sequins, glitter, sparkle, shine, velvet and lace are completely acceptable. Gentlemen, classing it up is always appreciated.

After almost a week without my computer, I am happy to say I’m Mac in action! (pardon the pun)
For those of you unaware, my computer crapped out last Monday. Initially I assumed it had to do with my Adobe CS5 installation. I soon learned my Mac needed a Mac-over, in the form of a rebuild.
To safely rebuild a computer is no easy feat. Thankfully I have my dad, who is a Mac genius, helping me. First we backed up my computer to the design computer. Then we erased my computer (hello stress!). We reinstalled the operating system, software and programs like CS5. Then we copied my backed up data from the design computer to my laptop. We also cleared out a 1T external backup drive to be used just for photos.
Long story short, the whole process involved days of programming and (no joke) over one million file transfers. I now have a backup drive for my photos, a backup for my files, and soon I will have a backup for my backup. Between my camera and now my computer, I hope to be smooth sailing into 2011!

Hey everyone! I’m sure by now you’ve noticed a few changes to BessByers.com. I recently decided to convert my blog so readers can leave comments, search by blog categories, access my social networking sites, etc. Although the conversion was time consuming, I think it will be well worth the effort.
Apologies for any difficulties or problems that may arise. I’m still in the process of updating my photo galleries and blogs, as well as troubleshooting things like music and maps.
